Mechanical Engineering is one of oldest, broadest, and best-established of the engineering disciplines. Simultaneously, the discipline is also constantly changing and evolving in response to new scientific discoveries and societal needs. The department focuses on imparting a solid theoretical foundation across a vast spectrum of technologies in parallel with hands-on work experience.The department is pursuing status of “Dassault Systems Academic Partner” as a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) centre of excellence. Such an initiative is a first of its kind venture in Kerala.
