Student Chapter of Computer Society of India(CSI)

The CSI Student Chapter of Mar Baselios College of Engineering & Technology was opened on 24th September, 2004. The chapter has proved itself to be the most active association in the college and is the biggest student chapter in the Kerala state.

This chapter has been conducting an Annual Quiz for the students of the college under the name BYTES. The Mar Baselios Students Chapter of CSI has been a trend setter in conducting events and has never failed in conducting at least one event of contests, meets or seminar. Mr. S Vishnu Kumar is the coordinator of student chapter of IT department of college.

Departmental Association

The Association of Information Technology had its inauguration on July 26, 2005. Invited lectures by experts drawn from industries and academic field are arranged regularly.

News Letter

iNFOCRATZ, a Information Technology Students’ Association’s news letter was published in April 2009. This auspicious ceremony was presided over by Shri. N T Nair, Chief Editor, Executive Knowledge Lines, Trivandrum. A talk on the “Current Recession and Steps for Students” and a cultural programme were organised to grace this occasion.
