Laboratories

The Department has a state of art fully air conditioned information technology centre having 220 Nodes. Four IBM servers are available. Besides, there is dedicated 24 hour broadband internet connectivity providing students access to the latest developments and trends the world over.

Department of IT has five full fledged and fully equipped computer labs with all kinds of Software platforms for engineering education. The lab in-charges are fully responsible for the smooth working of the labs.

The following are the various software labs set up for the students as per the curriculum.

A Central Computing Facility (CCF) with 70 computers has been set up to cater to the needs of the students of all branches with working period extended beyond normal working hours. This facility provides the students with high speed dedicated internet connectivity.

Department Library

IT department has well furnished library which caters the varying academic needs of students by maintaining and making accessible a collection of printed and non-printed, primary and secondary materials that supports the educational, research and public service programmes of both students and the faculty. The collection includes learning materials for core subjects, journals and backup of project reports.Every year library is dynamically updated with latest books in the field of Information Technology.
