The Department of Electronics and Communication is very much active in conducting seminars, conferences and workshops for the benefit of faculty and students. Faculty is encouraged to participate in such activities organized by other institutions also.

•    A short term course on ‘MATLAB’ by Ancy S.Anselam  is being organized by Department of Electronics and Communication for faculties from all the departments of the college during the month of June 2010.
•    A short term course on ‘PSPICE’ by Naveen S is being organized by Department of Electronics and Communication for faculties from all the departments of the college during the month of June 2010.
•    A short term course on ‘MICROCONTROLLERS’ by Prof. S. Viswanatha Rao is being organized by Department of Electronics and Communication for faculties from all the departments of the college during the month of May 2010.
•    Invited talk by S. Viswanatha Rao on ‘Microprocessors’ followed by Lab sessions, at DST-FIST sponsored National Workshop on Electronics and Computer Experiments, Mar Ivanios College, Trivandrum.

•    The Department has organized a bold venture called Broadband’08, a national conference on broadband technologies in association with IEEE Kerala section and CSI Trivandrum chapter. This conference held on 27th and 28th March 2008 had participants from all over India.
