About us

Department of Computer Science and Engineering was established in the year 2002, with the objective of imparting quality education in the field of Computer Science and Engineering. With rapidly evolving technology and the continuous need for innovation, the department has always produced quality professionals, holding important positions in Information Technology and other industries in India and abroad.

The department has around 240 students, 13 teaching staff members and 3 technical staff members who teach how to think rather what to think. Staff members from other supporting departments also handle classes for our students. The students are not only trained in attaining academic excellence but are also encouraged to acquire industry exposure through industrial visits, in-plant training and projects .The learning atmosphere being more practical oriented makes the transition from an educational institution to an industry, effortless.
 
Our faculty and staff are dedicated in providing our students with the best possible education by offering courses in the latest technology and providing the attention and support that is needed to produce talented graduates in the fields of computer science and engineering.

Objectives 
  1. Excel in all aspects of academic research and produce a high quality science and technology based professionals and enhance their general skills in logical and analytical understanding.
  2.  To help students to acquire ability to design and implement quality computer solutions
  3.  To provide opportunities to gain practical experience in computer technologies, using the latest and modern software and hardware.
  4.   To instill within the students the technical, communicative and cognitive skills that will prepare them not just for technical roles but also for leadership roles as well
  5.   To assist the students in their career progression by setting up on-campus placements. 
  6.  Hiring, nurturing, and retaining outstanding and energetic faculty who strengthen our existing expertise.
  7.  Ensure that students graduate with substantial knowledge of a broad class of problem-solving techniques (e.g.; this includes Algorithms, heuristics, and design techniques).
